NH4Israel Hosts David Project Presentation
On December 7th, NH4Israel presented Kelly Ward from The David Project (www.thedavidproject.org) to fifty people at the Jewish Federation. People of various faiths, political backgrounds, ages and knowledge were introduced to the current climate of anti-Zionism and anti-Semitism on college campuses today. Ms. Ward, who received her masters degree from Brandeis University in Judaic and Near East Studies, explained how Israel Aparteid Week occured at her alma mater and dozens of other colleges. She was joined by the Director of Education for The David Project and, together, the evening proved invaluable for those attending the session who are interested in combatting this dangerous trend across the USA.
NH4Israel has provided Israel-oriented educational content on a statewide basis since 2006 and encourages all members of the Federation and at-large Jewish community to attend these free informative events. Food is always provided!

In the Mishnah, the great Sage Hillel confronts his students by asking,
"If not now... when?" (Avot 1:14)

Tweets are now calling for a “Day of Anger” as a follow-up on January 28. Libya, Algeria, Jordan and Yemen are seeing the beginnings of a protest movement. Whether the prairie fire continues to spread or subsides would depend on what happens in the coming days in Tunisia and Egypt... To read more see the document below
